Our Story

Our tale begins a few generations ago, with a Berber woman in Algeria. Together with her tribe, she would go out, day in and day out, to collect the nuts that had fallen overnight from the Argan tree, and would then spend the rest of the day carefully slicing them open and hand-pressing them into argan oil. The superlative benefits of the oil were immediately apparent to her, who passed her knowledge and pressing techniques onto the rest of her family.

Two generations later, it is her grandson Adam Ladjadj who hears the family tale and sees an incredible opportunity: meeting the health and beauty needs of consumers with an efficient, precious and multi-functional oil, that is completely natural and safe. At present, W.S. Argan specializes in rare oils from around the world to enhance beauty with purity.
